PowerMax Plus controls lights and appliances, by setting up a weekly schedule, upon certain events, or at the press of a button. Automated routines can be set up. For instance, when a resident returns home, they press one button, and the system can be programmed to simultaneously open the garage door, turn on the external lights and disarm the alarm system. Users create the automated routines that suit their individual lifestyles. During emergencies, the system will not only send an alert, but can also activate ventilation and lights in order to clear smoke and illuminate hallways to help the family find their way out.

The system provides event notification direct to the owner, remote control of lights, appliances and the alarm. Latchkey mode informs parents of a child’s arrival home. The touch of a button on the phone handset initiates full 2-way voice communication through the control panel.
